Layout, design, typography, illustration, and logo design for Discover magazine’s May 2019 special Einstein section. I created all collage work for this section — Einstein’s Eclipse uses a public domain image of Einstin by ETH-Bibliothek Zurich, with collage elements from NASA/JPL/SDO, NASA/Bill Ingalls, Wikimedia, David Rumsey Map Collection. Artwork used on Relativity spread includes: Heritage Image Partnership Ltd/Alamy, Envato Elements, Vanatchanan/Shutterstock. Apple tree art drawn in Adobe Illustrator based on a sketch from author Devin Powell. I chose an Art Deco inspired font to reflect the late 20s/early 30s time period discussed in the section.
